This Wednesday, a month after his entry into prison for the alleged murder of Edwin Arrieta, Daniel Sancho finally received a visit from his father in jail Koh Samui. Three days after his arrival in Thailand, and accompanied by his lawyers, Rodolfo Sancho was reunited with his son.
A very hard moment after which the actor, nervous and angry broke his silence before the cameras to make it clear that “I’m not crying on the floor, that’s not me”. “There are two ways to take things when they come in life. You can take it as a disgrace or as a challenge, I have always said it. I think that I have said enough. They won’t get tears from me”, he assured, taking the opportunity to ask the Spanish media that are covering the case in Thailand to leave there.
Some statements that drew attention due to their coldness and that made them a trending topic, unleashing strong criticism for the “arrogance” and “arrogance” that the protagonist of ‘Isabel’ showed after his first visit to Daniel in prison.

Aware that his words were unfortunate and that what he wanted to convey has been misinterpreted, Rodolfo spoke before the cameras again this Thursday upon his arrival at jail to see his son for the second time.

Calm, but affected by the controversy that his statements have unleashed, the artist has apologized, acknowledging that he was wrong to put on a ‘shell’ of coldness to show himself strong publicly in these very difficult moments: “As you can imagine, yesterday I came out of a difficult moment in there” –in reference to his reunion in prison with Daniel- “The image I gave was perhaps very harsh, perhaps arrogant” he acknowledged, explaining that although “I have always had a smile with the press”, his attitude from 24 hours ago is about “a mechanism that I use to feel firm, to feel strong and to help my son.”
In principle, and as confirmed by his lawyer Marcos Garcia Montesbe Saturday when Rodolfo leaves Tailadia after six days in the country in which, in addition to meeting Daniel, he has met with Embassy personnel and his lawyers, trying to gather testimonies to develop a defense strategy that manages to avoid the death penalty for the young man.
