Spor Toto Süper Lig team Hatayspor continued their preparations for the Istanbulspor away game in the 14th week of the Süper Lig with the training they made. In the training held at Osman Çalgın Facilities under the management of coach Volkan Demirel, the football players worked on tactics after warming up. Stating that he is preparing for the Istanbulspor match, coach Volkan Demirel said, “I hope we can get into the national team by winning 3 points as we aimed. Before we came here, we set a goal between 12 and 15 points. We currently have 11 points, if we win, it will be 14 points. Almost. “We will have finished the first period close to the score we targeted. We want to win the Istanbulspor match to reach our goal, we are working to win. The motivation of my players is very good. I hope we will be among the national team by winning,” he said.
NO PERMISSION AT HATAYSPOR
Demirel, who said that the players will be allowed for a while due to the World Cup, said, “Then we will gather here and work here for a while. Then, hopefully, we will go to Antalya and prepare for the second period after the national team with the friendly matches there. You know, after that there will be a half-time break, but “We will not allow it there. We will not use it. That’s why we will use the break here by allowing the players. Because it is an intense pace. 1 match period will be entered in 3 days. We do not want to wear out the players too much. That’s why we will give permission as much as necessary and ask them to relax,” he said.
Demirel, who said that Bertuğ Özgür Yıldırım, who was injured in the Başakşehir match in the team, was in good condition, said that they would give Bertuğ a chance in line with the doctors’ advice.
Musa Çağıran, who was pleased with the struggle shown in the Başakşehir match and thanked everyone for this, said, “We are preparing for the İstanbulspor match with the same awareness and the same seriousness. Because we know that we, as a football group, will take Hatayspor to the place it deserves when we fight well and give our all to the field. Hopefully we will be able to do that,” he said.
The team also reported that Kevin Soni and Christian Atsu remained injured.
