Istanbul, Jacobs and Ceccarelli in the semifinals in the 60 meters

The sprint is the protagonist on the second day of the Euroindoors in Istanbul 2023. And all eyes are on Marcell Jacobs: he started from the fifth lane with the worst reaction time (0.169) and won the fifth heat of the 60 in 6″57, the best qualifying time .

Samuele Ceccarelli also qualified for the semifinals: he is second with 6″62 in the third heat won by the Dutch Boujou in 6″59. “I was a little too stiff, but at least I know where I can improve tonight. I’ll try to stay as relaxed as possible” commented Ceccarelli. Roberto Rigali closes the fourth heat with 6”74 and is eliminated.
