Israel van Dorsten nominated for NS Audience Award

Israel van Dorsten from Ruinerwold has a chance to win the NS Audience Award for his book We were, I am: gone from Ruinerwold. In the book he shows his experience of how he was excluded from the outside world for years by his father Gerrit-Jan.

Van Dorsten has been nominated for the prize together with five other writers. Other contenders include Herman Koch, Arthur Japin and Esther Verhoef. The public can vote for their favorite book from today and the winner will be announced on Wednesday, November 8.
