Israel is proceeding to a fourth jab in the fight against the advancing omikron variant of the corona virus. Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett announced an additional round of vaccinations for people over 60 and healthcare staff. Vulnerable people with a weak immune system are also eligible. The move follows the country’s first known omikron death of a long-ill patient.
