Transfer activity continues in Göztepe, one of the Spor Toto 1st League teams. The yellow-red people have recently added İsmail Köybaşı, who played for Trabzonspor, to their squad. İzmir representative signed a 2+1 year contract with the 33-year-old left-back. Announcing the transfer on his social media accounts, Göztepe said “Welcome” to İsmail Köybaşı and wished success under the yellow-red jersey.
İsmail Köybaşı started his career in Gaziantepspor infrastructure and played in Gaziantepspor, Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, Granada, Ç. He wore the jersey of Rizespor and Trabzonspor teams.
