The Hague – An umbrella organization of Islamic primary schools where menstruating girls are treated separately ‘goes way too far’ with its rules of conduct, says education minister Dennis Wiersma (VVD). But intervention is difficult. Wiersma recently approved nine new Islamic primary schools. And according to experts, many more of these schools are on the way.
