A few professionals could still leave the Irons by Friday. Hot candidate for a change: striker Jordan Siebatcheu.
After two public units in a row in the stadium, “normal operation” prevailed again at the Alte Försterei on Tuesday afternoon. 1. FC Union practiced on the training ground next to the stadium. Around 150 fans came – and possibly saw one or the other professional for the last time.
► Jordan Siebatcheu (26), who Mönchengladbach wants to sign, is about to jump. On Saturday in Darmstadt (4:1) – the Franco-American came in the 64th minute – Siebatcheu was observed again by a Gladbach scout. The fact is: The striker can no longer get beyond the status of the joker with the Iron. A fee of 3.5 million euros is under discussion.
► Dominique Heintz (30) is also about to say goodbye. The defender, who was loaned to Bochum last season, could move to Cologne.
► It remains to be seen whether the newcomers Mikkel Kaufmann (22/KSC) and Benedict Hollerbach (22/Wehen Wiesbaden) will still be loaned out. Neither attacker has been used in any of the three competitive games so far.
► The same applies to offensive man Tim Skarke (26), who was loaned to Schalke in the past second half of the season.
► Aissa Laidouni (26), who is currently indispensable in sport, is a special case. However, the Saudi clubs Al-Shabab and Al-Ahli have recently shown interest. And in Saudi Arabia, the transfer list does not close until September 20th…
