After Robin Gosens (29), 1. FC Union Berlin has another player with experience in the DFB team on the list. Like the TV station “sky“ reports the Köpenickers are interested in Kevin Volland. Discussions with AS Monaco about a transfer are already underway, and the attacker, who is still tied until 2024, has a fee of 6 million to 7 million euros.
Update July 15, 5:20 p.m.: “Picture” asked people around Volland, which was followed by a clear denial. There were neither talks nor an offer from Union.

“My family and I are definitely going back to Germany, home,” Volland revealed in the “Ran” interview after losing his regular place with the Monegasque team last season. The striker contributed six goals and three assists in 24 games in 2022/23, with a total of 63 goals in 115 games for AS Monaco.

However, VfL Wolfsburg should also continue to compete for Volland – as with Gosens. The “Wolves” are said to have offered a loan with a purchase obligation of 14 million euros for the left winger. However, Inter Milan is not satisfied with this and hopes for a higher sum. Neither Wolfsburg nor Union Berlin are said to have added so far.
