Elfyn Evans collapsed under heavy pressure in the exit race.
Elfyn Evans drove into the wall. A phrase that would be more suitable for track driving than rallying.
However, the British driver of the Toyota team crashed into the building of the German farm on Saturday morning. The car slipped out of Evans’ hands on the slippery asphalt, sliding inexorably towards the wall. Evans managed to turn the car sideways in the last moments, but even that did not prevent the impact.
Rallikansa speculates whether it was a barn, a barn or a warehouse, but the end result does not change.

Evans’ interception for five made sure Kalle Rovanperän world championship.
Tomorrow’s Power Stage will turn things around. It is Evans’ only lifeline to extend the battle to the season finale in Japan.
Evans needs at least two points from this weekend to continue the championship fight. So with Power you have to be able to drive into the top four. In addition, Rovanperä should either remain without points or score very few of them.
Rovanperä is currently second in the rally. There’s no rush anymore. Eighth place secures the championship for the Finn, no matter what Evans did on the Power Stage.
Without any luck, Rovanperä will get that place, even if he drives grandma to church all the rest of the quick bits.
