Is the whole family movie Vonkka suitable for children?

From Roald Dahl’s beloved classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – has already been used in three films. The most recent is the one starring Timothée Chalamet Vonka– film that premiered this week in Finland. The film tells how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate manufacturer became the well-known Villi Vonkka.

Based on a children’s book Vonka has received the age limit of K7. Content symbols warn of violence and that the film may cause anxiety.

Among other things, the popular Family website Romper has written about whether the film is suitable for children. In addition to the content warnings mentioned above, the article points out that based on the trailer, the protagonist goes through his trauma at the beginning of the film.

Paddington-film director and screenwriter Paul King is also Vonkabehind the movie. Romper’s article says that just like Paddington’s, too Vonka– movie, parents could assume that the warning elements are tame enough for children. The film is recommended for children who are old enough to understand its story and concentrate on it for two hours.

The star guard of the film includes, among others, the British hero actor Hugh Grant. Grant plays an umpa-lumpa character in the film, and his appearance in the film has already amused many based on the trailer. Grant’s character sparked lively discussion on social media already in the summer.
