Paula Joukanen says that she has received many inquiries regarding the continuation of her studies.
Miss Finland Paula Joukanen, 22, addresses people’s concerns regarding his unfinished law studies. Joukanen tells Instagram– in his publication that he has received many inquiries regarding whether he intends to continue his studies after his victory.
– Those questions bother me, although I understand the concern, because in several of my speeches I have specifically mentioned that I want to encourage young people to get an education, because education is always something to rely on, Joukanen begins his answer.
– It would be strange if I spoke in favor of education, but I would immediately drop out of school myself. Although I have a great interest and passion for the media industry, performing, modeling and public works, I still want to be a lawyer. Just because in the future I would hopefully be able to combine my passion, i.e. jurisprudence, and the media industry, he continues.
Miss Finland reveals that she has actually returned to her studies. However, Joukanen admits that he has had to get used to a new kind of everyday life after his victory.
– Everyday life is chaotic and busy now, especially before the Universes, but I like it. Today was the first lecture after the Miss Suomi hassles and it was wonderful to have a piece of everyday life back, she said.
Joukanen, from Espoo, was crowned Miss Finland on Saturday, September 9. The first hereditary princess was chosen Serina Suvila and as the second hereditary princess Maisa Alatalo.
Joukanen told Iltalehte the same evening that getting the crown has required special dedication from him.
– This has required believing in myself. I’ve always been really driven and competitive. If I have joined something, I have done it fully until the end, he stated.
