Is Noa Vahle talking nonsense? ‘What she says is simply not true!’

Noa Vahle causes annoyance with the claim that her mother Linda de Mol was ‘destroyed’ by the media and that they wanted her off the air. “It’s just not true!”

It was already Linda de Mol’s standard reflex and apparently it has now also been adopted by her daughter Noa Vahle: immediately taking the victim role when there is a hint of a headwind. “The worst thing for me is what it did to my mother. She is really devastated,” Noa fumes in the LINDA. “People shouted that she could no longer be on television!”

‘Is that so?’

Eh, who said that Linda could no longer appear on television after the misconduct of her sweetheart Jeroen Rietbergen on The Voice of Holland? An anonymous note on Twitter? Isn’t Noa making it way too big in an attempt to arouse pity from the general public? At De Telegraaf they think so.

Jordi Versteegden, reporter for the newspaper, responds critically in one video: “Yes, what does she say? She says that she finds it difficult that Linda has been treated like that in the media and I have to say: this week I also heard colleague Rob Goossens say to colleagues at RTL Boulevard: ‘Yes, is that actually true? ‘”

‘It’s not too bad’

Rob doesn’t think so and, Jordi says: “I have to agree with Rob. I actually think that’s not too bad. I think they were logical questions about whether she ever knew anything about it. She was asked that too. But it is not the case that we all say: Linda should never be on television again. That is not true.”

Telegraaf colleague Wilson Boldewijn then: “No, and let’s face it: it is one of the biggest TV scandals in the Netherlands historically and it concerns her partner. It would be very strange if critical questions were not allowed to be asked about this.”

Multi interpretable

Wilson also finds it a bit convenient that Noa only allows herself to be interviewed by her mother’s magazine. “Noa Vahle responded to her mother in her mother’s magazine and that is always a bit open to interpretation. Can I put it like this?”

Jordi agrees with that. “Yes, she never wanted to say much about it. Once in Today Inside, also a bit of her own home, you could say. You would say: is that a premeditated action to put her mother in the good light again? I do not think so. I thought it was a nice, honest interview, I must say.”

Weird comment

By the way, Jordi does advise to pick up Linda from Ik Hou Van Holland. “I think you can see that Linda is acting very cheerful, while we also know that she is of course dealing with great sadness. That is a combination that you may think no longer works completely. Maybe she should stop that program too.”

All in all: what does he think of what Linda’s daughter is saying? “I thought it was a strange comment from Noa.”
