Monique Westenberg is completely activated. She jumps in when she hears a cash register ringing somewhere. And according to the latest sapper report, she is really after Rachel Hazes.
The Hazes family is the gift that keeps on giving. Throw in a tenner if they’re all at a circle birthday party and you just won’t get out alive. In the best case scenario, you will still have Rachel’s self-tanner on your chin for a week or Monique’s acrylic nails hanging on your neck. Incredibly dangerous.
Rox wants an inheritance
Yet it is entirely understandable that Roxeanne Hazes is now chasing her deceased father’s inheritance. After all, this is not so much for financial reasons, but for reasons of principle. If André’s wish was not to leave his inheritance to Rachel if she had initiated divorce proceedings, then you would expect that to be respected.
How Rachel managed it is unclear, but despite the procedure, she now has a mountain of money that makes Scrooge McDuck jealous. And André and Rox? They were fobbed off with a few nickels and dimes. Rox thinks that Rachel has overplayed her hand with all those crazy Hazes bath slippers at Lidl and now wants to safeguard the Hazes legacy herself.
Together with André?
Well, Rox wants to do that together with her brother André, but he is holding back. He is at home learning how to hang the laundry. “But do you think Rox is waiting to celebrate a years-long battle with her mother in court? Hell no“, says hazologist Yvonne Coldeweijer in her podcast The Juice Show.
Still, Rox goes for it. “She feels that it is an obligation to her father, like: I have to have my father’s last wish carried out, there is now someone who is running away with it and that is not how my father wanted it. I don’t think André dares, even though he has now broken up with his mother. Well, we just assume that…”
Public opinion
Coincidence or not: after Briefgate, André and Rachel hardly see each other anymore. “Even then he still doesn’t dare to go against her, I think. Maybe not because of public opinion. He doesn’t really like making choices. He also always strings several women along. He says this to this one and that to that one.”
André doesn’t want to seem like he wants that money either, Yvonne thinks. “Because he also said: ‘I don’t need that money. I earn my own money.’ I earn my own money?! Yes, singing covers of his father!”
Hold up
But wait: if André doesn’t give up now and Rox starts everything on his own, isn’t he actually just giving up the inheritance that may be his? “What’s going to happen if Rox wins and gets all that money? Actually, she wins it for him. Did she incur all the costs and have to fight all that battle, so that he can hold up his hand?”
On this point, Yvonne seems to have prior knowledge: “I think Rox should say, and perhaps this is already happening: ‘Hey, then I want you to put it in writing that if I win, you will give up your share. Because then you should have joined the fight because I’m on my own now.’ This could be the case. I’m not going to make any further statements about it. Hahaha.”
Monique in stress
Okay, and now we’ve reached the point where the stress spots are shooting up Monique’s neck. Does she just see that her sweetheart André is letting a million-dollar legacy pass him by? “André junior is just a wet newspaper. He can’t handle all that. But Monique is really on top of it again.”
Monique can already smell the fresh wood of a new garden set and the ammonia from endless long sessions in the hair salon. “Of course they want to know: what about that inheritance? Can we claim that? What about? (…) I heard that Monique is trying to encourage André Jr. to join Rox.”
Biological father
But for a moment: isn’t it very strange that André keeps himself so aloof? A Yvon spy once again points out some persistent rumors about the young folk singer: “To what extent is André’s fear as to whether André senior is actually his biological father? And that’s why he doesn’t join? Or is this too far-fetched?”
Yvonne: “Very honest… It could very well be possible. It is possible that André Jr. does not dare to compete because his mother knows something about him that could destroy his career.”
Blackmail
Wow? So what does Rachel know about her son? “Do you ever wonder why it is taking so long with that exhausting book that Kroketta was going to publish? 👀 Rachel wouldn’t be Rachel if there wasn’t something behind it… Spies very close (and who have proven to be very reliable in my career) think that Rachel is still threatening to publish the book.”
In order to get things done from certain people, Yvonne explains. “Or to keep these people calm. That’s why the book still hasn’t been released. According to these spies, she still uses it as leverage for blackmail.”
