It could have been a brief stint for Ludovic de Saint Sernin at Ann Demeulemeester, as rumors of a departure are circulating just two months after the Belgian fashion house’s first runway show.
There have been differences between the brand’s management and De Saint Sernin, reports Business of Fashion, citing sources familiar with the matter. However, the separation has not yet been officially announced.
Ludovic de Saint Sernin, who founded his eponymous label in 2017, was appointed to the position of creative director at Ann Demeulemeester in early December and showed his first collection for the fashion house in Paris in March.
Already after the eagerly awaited fashion show, which he called a tribute to Demeulemeester, there was criticism of the collection.
