Exciting phrases about Helene’s greatest hits…
Schlager icon Helene Fischer (38) is preparing for her mega tour. In 2023 she will go on a big arena tour again, which will run from March to October and include around 70 concerts.
What shouldn’t be missing from the set list, of course: their mega song “ Breathless”. A huge catchy tune, a hit for every fan whenever Helene performs it live. But is she still excited about it herself? There is now an answer to that.

In an interview with the “Neue Züricher Zeitung” Fischer talked about her songs, including of course “Atemlos”: “I rarely listen to my own music at home, but of course I often sing the song on stage. And I’m still having so much fun with it. When I notice that the audience feels the same as I do in these moments, my heart just melts. Even with songs I’ve sung a thousand times.”
But there is a song from her repertoire that you will probably no longer hear at Helene’s home: “And tomorrow morning I’ll kiss you awake”!
The hit song from 2006 is simply no longer to her personal taste.
She says about it: “The older the songs get, the more often I think about whether I would still listen to this CD at home. (…) One of my oldest songs is almost a classic. I might not necessarily listen to it privately, but I really enjoy playing it live.”
And if the fans are happy, then Helene is too.
Speaking of luck: the music icon also revealed in an interview what makes her record company a little unhappy: that she posts so little on Instagram. There, where you follow almost 950,000 fans, but there is quite a low tide for photos.
Helene Fischer has difficulties with the app: “I don’t enjoy it as much as maybe others do. I also never felt the need to share everything right away. Others probably think I’m crazy for not using it. But that’s who I am. My record company often throws up their hands too much.”
But the mother of a daughter remains strict: “Instagram also lives from the fact that you often get a glimpse into private life. But I draw very clear boundaries there.”
