The violent incident with the new village resident Douwe Bob hit Abcoude like a bomb, but now there also seems to be some kind of street gang active. Is Eva Jinek still safe?
Abcoude has less than nine thousand inhabitants, but the village is still plagued by an increasing influx of celebrities. Almost all villas are full, but more and more stars want to claim a home. It leads to tensions in the village, because the celebrities of our country are overrepresented in the crime figures.

The newest ‘addition’ to the village, Douwe Bob, turned the entire village upside down on Saturday evening. In the middle of the village square, right in front of the Albert Heijn, he got into a fight with all kinds of young people. It comes as no surprise: the singer’s aggression and misconduct have been extensively reported by the juice channels for years.
But who are actually those young people hanging out in front of the local supermarket late at night? Are they all innocent sweethearts who had to get a carton of milk from their mother? Wait a minute… According to RTL Boulevard, this is also scum! Wow, and all that on that one square kilometer of the star village Abcoude.

These people have a lot of fear, says Rob. Why didn’t they want to talk to reporter Aran Bade? “Because they thought: yes, then those boys will come and throw something annoying through our letterbox. That says something about these figures, but yes, he allowed himself to be taken advantage of and that is simply never wise.”
So there is some kind of street gang active in Abcoude. The big question is: can the village’s most famous resident, Eva Jinek, still walk the streets safely? She lives just a four-minute walk from the Albert Heijn and can practically see those fights from her kitchen window. She recently walked there late at night, dressed like a scary toddler.
Police deployment
It seems that the safety of the celebrity village of Abcoude is under pressure. The residents there will scream for more police deployment. The election results from the polling station in the village church shows that many residents are looking for a ‘law and order’ party. No less than 25 percent of all votes went to the VVD, 12 percent to the PVV.
Shouldn’t the borders of Abcoude just be closed, so that they can put things in order there first? Before you know it, Ali B and Lil Kleine will also arrive. One thing is certain: the quiet village life in Abcoude is over for good.
