Even if it is initially a relaxed, shirt -sleeved villain, how likely is it that Booth might have killed his wife (Rebecca Gayheart) with a light gun while arousing on a boat?

The scene breaks off before we can see what really happened. Although Cliff is acquitted from every guilt, it becomes clear that most people in Hollywood (except, of course, think of the Rick Dalton played by Leonardo DiCaprio) that he did. One of course knows the truth about Cliff – and that’s Brad Pitt.

In a conversation with the “Hollywood Reporter”, the actor asked the question whether Tarantino would inform his actors about the deeper truths of the script.

“I will never reveal that,” replied Pitt. And added that he would prefer it if the audience decided on some solutions, because that makes the cinema experience all the more interesting. “Why should you spoil that too?” In other words, Brad Pitt knows, but likes to let the viewers braise.

Perhaps a longer version of “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood”, which is currently under discussion, will provide information on whether Cliff Booth has killed his wife. Perhaps Tarantino leaves this open question further to its audience.
