Amsterdam – Will negative interest rates be a thing of the past after Thursday? On Thursday, the European Central Bank (ECB) will raise interest rates by -0.5% for the first time in 11 years. But due to the blazing high inflation, ECB President Christine Lagarde might even consider a 50 basis point rate hike, instead of the previously announced 25 basis point move.
