Irene Moors responds to the rumor that behind the scenes she is ‘the rudest and meanest TV presenter the Netherlands has ever known’. “It will be,” said the former TV star.
Not only her buddy Carlo Boszhard, but also Irene Moors has fallen prey to the infamous juice channels. The well-known Juice Channel channel, which is used as a source by, among others, RTL Boulevard and Shownieuws, states that Irene is a terrible person when the cameras go out. Juice Channel relies on multiple testimonials.
‘Whatever!’
Irene is now responding to those accusations in Weekend magazine. “I read it with my colleagues and we laughed really hard about it. Nowadays I think messages are posted to see if there is a response, maybe for the clicks, or they think: maybe there is indeed something new to get from that woman,” she laughs.
It quickly passed again, according to Irene. “I don’t think anyone has responded to it because I haven’t heard anything about it. I just think it will. And then it will pass, that’s for the best.”
Irene is disappointed
The atmosphere in media land is very grim these days, says Irene. “It has not become more fun in the media world. Anyone who is a little known is kind of outlawed. That you have to be busy, with defending yourself. Well, I don’t.”
Isn’t it better to debunk rumors right away? In the context of: who is silent, consents? Nonsense, says Irene. “I think that’s really nonsense. Then we’ll keep going.”
Still on TV?
Irene has fallen out of favor with the TV bosses. She will soon appear as a candidate in De Verraders. Perhaps that will give her career a boost.
Asked about planning for 2022, she says: “A lot, but it’s not sure yet if things will come true or not. There are some conversations and we brainstorm. There’s nothing secret or anything, but there’s just a lot going on.”
