In Iran, the schoolgirl who was seriously injured after a suspected confrontation with the vice police in the Tehran metro at the beginning of this month has died. Iran’s IRNA news agency reports that Armita Geravand died due to brain damage. The sixteen-year-old had been in a coma in a military hospital for the past 28 days.
