Investigation into death of Russian journalists in CAR not completed

The UK intends to complete the murder of three Russians in the Central African Republic, Alexander Bikantov, the new Russian ambassador to the Central African Republic, said.

In 2018, during a journalistic investigation, there were three Russians were killed: journalist Orkhan Dzhemal, documentary filmmaker Alexander Rastorguev and cameraman Kirill Radchenko. The journalists moved along the dangerous highway at night and without security guards. They were stopped and killed by militants from the illegal armed group 3R.

Later it became known that representatives of the Russian press ended up in Africa, fulfilling the order of the Investigation Management Center of Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Both the government of the Central African Republic and the investigating authorities of the Russian Federation intend to bring the investigation of the tragedy to an end, Bikantova quotes RIA News.
