Investigation by the European Public Prosecution Service at the head office of the Tax and Customs Administration ANP
The European Public Prosecutor’s Office conducted an investigation on Wednesday morning at the head office of the Tax Authorities in The Hague. The European Public Prosecutor’s Office in Luxembourg would not say what the investigation is about.
“I can confirm that it is part of an investigation that we are conducting. We are responsible for tackling crimes against the budget of the European Union,” said a spokeswoman for the organization. She adds that the detectives “didn’t just go to the tax authorities”, “it’s not about catching up”.
