Notices for heat in Barcelona, Girona and Lleida
The heat wave that starts this Monday, July 10, will activate alerts in Barcelona, Girona and Lleida and 31 provinces over twelve autonomous communities, according to the forecast of the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
In addition to the red warning in Córdoba and Jaén, which may reach 45 degrees, the high temperatures will put Cádiz, Granada, Málaga, Seville, the Balearic Islands, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Toledo, Badajoz, Cáceres, at significant risk (orange). Madrid and Albacete, which will also be on yellow alert for storms.
And, together with the three Catalan provinces, Huesca, Teruel, Zaragoza, Ávila, Burgos, Palencia, Salamanca, Segovia, Soria, Valladolid, Zamora, Murcia, Navarra, La Rioja, Alicante and Valencia will be on yellow notices.
