Civil Protection of the Generalitat has activated this Tuesday night the alert of the Inuncat emergency plan, due to the forecast of heavy rains for the next few days, especially in the coastal and central pre-coastal regions.
According to the Meteorological Service of Catalonia (Meteocat), on Wednesday the probability of exceeding the threshold of 20 liters per square meter in these regions increases, Civil Protection reported in a statement on Tuesday.

Civil Protection of the Generalitat recommends that citizens be very careful when moving around areas that may be affected by this episode of rainfall, and also in outdoor activities.
