Municipal politics are often discussed with pity. But according to Claude and Jan, there is no better job: a mayor close to his people. “We are both party leaders. I sincerely hope to remain mayor in the municipality for many years to come,” says Claude.
They both hope to regain confidence at the elections on October 13 and to add another six years. Both Seynhaeve and Croes are not in favor of municipal mergers.
