He was the only one who was able to follow Mathieu and Wout during the Cyclocross World Cup: drone pilot Jan Crommelinck (37) from Oosterzele. It resulted in beautiful images that made viewers almost taste the sand themselves. Jan used to be Belgian champion as a (moto)cross racer, but his sports career came to an abrupt end twelve years ago due to a heart attack. Now he is world leader in ‘drone flying’. “It’s just a pity that I have to work abroad so often.”
