Two primary schools in Evere will scrap Wednesday as a teaching day next year and compensate for those hours during the other days of the week. The reason? The teacher shortage. “We had four teachers short this school year. With this plan we effectively get one teacher per class,” says director Lisa Janssens of primary school De Weg-Wijzer.
