Inter, Vecino returns to the group. Gosens more in the derby than in Genoa

The idea is to have the German do two more training sessions to have him ready on Tuesday against Milan. Bastoni and Brozo are back, doubt in attack

First weekly training session for Simone Inzaghi’s Inter in view of Friday’s advance in Marassi against Genoa. After the rest Monday, the group went back to work to prepare for an away match that became very delicate after the internal knockout with Sassuolo. Despite the first leg derby of the Coppa Italia semi-final on Tuesday, Inzaghi seems intent on not making a turnover against Grifone. Too important to return to victory.

A doubt ahead

The certainty is that two key elements such as Bastoni and Brozovic will be back. The starting median is therefore recomposed with Barella, the Croatian and Calhanoglu. On the flanks there will be Dumfries and Perisic, while behind Dimarco will give way to Bastoni. The only doubt concerns the attacking couple, with Dzeko who will hardly start from the bench as against Sassuolo and one between Lautaro and Sanchez to support him.

Vecino yes, Gosens ni

As a group, Vecino met again, who got rid of the inflammation in his knee that made him skip his last commitments. Gosens, on the other hand, did a part of the session with his teammates and a part alone. A call-up for Genoa at the moment appears unlikely. He could go to Marassi to make up a group, but the idea is not to let him miss two training sessions and to have him available for the Cup derby. Correa is also aiming for an objective, otherwise he will return on 4 March against Salernitana.
