Inter saved for next season the signing of Dzeko, who had been close to a renewal, but who instead signed a two-year contract for Fenerbahce. The Nerazzurri in 2022-23 paid him 6.5 million euros net because the amount of the second year of the contract was higher (4.5 the first). In fact, his departure has freed up salary space.
