Defending champions Inter Milan have taken the lead in Italy’s Serie A. The former Champions League winner clearly defeated bottom US Salernitana 5-0 (2-0) and leads the table with 58 points ahead of city rivals AC Milan and former champions SSC Napoli (both 57).
The pursuers meet on Sunday.
Lautaro Martinez (22nd, 40th, 56th) and Edin Dzeko (64th, 69th) ensured the clear success.
National player Robin Gosens came on after a long injury break in the 62nd minute and shortly afterwards prepared the fourth goal.
