Market Value Winner
Inter has once again become active on the transfer market after Romelu Lukaku’s (29) return. As the Milan announced on Thursday, Kristjan Asllani (20) comes from league rivals FC Empoli. The midfielder will initially be on loan for a season for a fee of €4m before a €10m buyout obligation takes effect. This makes Asllani one of the most expensive sales in the club’s history at Empoli. The club only made more money with two players.
Asllani was trained at Empoli, where he was promoted to the first squad last summer. He made 27 appearances for the club, scoring one goal and providing two assists. In the most recent Serie A market value update, the right-footed player was among the biggest winners, posting a 3.5-plus increase to his previous best of €10m. Asllani made his debut for the Albanian national team in March, for which he has made four appearances since then.
While Asllani is going to Inter, striker Martín Satriano (21), who was last loaned to Stade Brest 29, could switch to Empoli. The journalist Alfredo Pedullà recently reported on this. Sebastiano Esposito (19), who went on loan for FC Basel last season, is also considered a candidate for a transfer.
