Inter Milan continues to march towards its 20th championship in the Italian Serie A after a victory at FC Bologna.
Simone Inzaghi’s team won 1-0 (1-0) in Bologna and, after their 13th competitive win of the year, is 18 points ahead of second-placed Juventus Turin, at least until Sunday. The Lombards can hardly take away their first Scudetto since 2021.
Former Cologne player Yann Bisseck scored the decisive goal before the break (37th). The best defense in Serie A with only 13 goals conceded also held tight against the surprise team from Bologna.
Inter will face Atletico Madrid on Wednesday (9:00 p.m.) to make it to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The Italians won the first leg 1-0 at home in San Siro.
