Inter beat Lazio 3-0 in the semi-finals of the Italian Super Cup played in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and became Napoli’s opponent in the final. Inter national football player Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored the goal that put his team ahead 2-0 with the penalty he took in the 50th minute.
Inter and Lazio faced each other in the Italian Super Cup semi-final match played at Al-Awal Park in Riyadh. Inter, who played a superior game against its opponent throughout the match, won the match 3-0 with goals from Marcus Thuram in the 17th minute, Hakan Çalhanoğlu from the penalty in the 50th minute and Davide Frattesi in the 87th minute and made its name into the final. National midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu increased his number of goals this season to 11. Hakan remained in the game for 81 minutes and was replaced by Kristjan Asllani.
Inter will fight in the final to win the cup with Napoli, who beat Fiorentina 3-0 in the other leg of the semi-final. The final match will be played on Monday, January 22.
