National star Hakan Çalhanoğlu contributed to the goal by assisting Martinez in the 34th minute of the match, which started in the starting 11th. Çalhanoğlu was replaced by Gagliardini in the 89th minute.
After this win, Inter in the 2nd place of Serie A increased to 43 points, while Milan in the 6th place had 38 points.
