Jumping until you fall through the roof, running around with a balaclava on and fighting with rival supporters: after the 1-5 defeat against Feyenoord last Sunday, some of the FC Utrecht fans couldn’t behave themselves. But why exactly? What goes on in a rioter’s head? “To count, you have to prove that you have something on your record,” says researcher Jan Brouwer.
