Insane draw with six goals for Young AZ

On a visit to Excelsior, Jong AZ took a point in the final phase. The Alkmaar reserves had taken the lead twice, but seemed to leave without points. Fedde de Jong scored the sixth goal of the evening: 3-3.

Zico Buurmeester broke the spell for Jong AZ on a visit to Excelsior. The lead could not be enjoyed very long, because the Rotterdam team tied the score a few minutes later via Reuven Niemeijer: 1-1.
