Innovation expert Robert Triefus is leaving

Robert Triefus says goodbye to the Gucci fashion house after 15 years. The manager will leave the brand belonging to the French luxury goods group Kering “at his own request” on April 30 in order to “take on new challenges,” Gucci said on Tuesday when asked by FashionUnited. Various specialist media had previously announced the impending departure.

Triefus most recently held the position of Senior EVP, Corporate & Brand Strategy, and since the beginning of November last year has also been responsible for the fashion house’s innovative digital projects as CEO of Vault & Metaverse Ventures. He handed over the position of EVP, Chief Brand and Client Officer, to Susan Chokachi last fall.

The fashion house paid tribute to the outgoing manager: “During his time at Gucci, Mr. Triefus played a decisive role in the development of brand & client engagement and was ultimately jointly responsible for the success of the new business initiatives,” says a statement. He was always “focused on Gucci’s unique brand DNA”.
