Nader El-Jindaoui (25) scored his first goal for the capital club in Hertha II’s 3-2 win against Viktoria Berlin. But the striker and internet star (1.7 million followers on Instagram) had no reason to be happy.

Because even before his debut goal, El-Jindaoui injured his left ankle with a pressing blow.

On Instagram he says: “It was a pain I’ve never had on my foot. I hope the ligaments aren’t torn.” In addition, the summer access (came from BAK) showed his swollen ankle.

Despite the injury shock, El-Jindaoui continued to play against Viktoria, making it 3-2 next to his goal. But it was over at halftime, the attacker stayed in the dressing room.

The next visit to the doctor follows on Monday at 9 a.m. An MRI scan should then show how bad the injury is and how long the attacker will be out.

El-Jindaoui to his fans: “Keep your fingers crossed, hopefully there will be good news tomorrow.”
