Two people were injured in a stabbing incident and assault at the Zaandam fair last night. The victims have been taken to hospital. Police have arrested two men on suspicion of involvement.
The police received a report of a stabbing incident at ‘t Veldpark at 10 p.m. last night. People would also have fought with each other in at least two locations.
A man and a woman were injured in the incident. Both had to be treated in hospital for their injuries.
The police arrested a 36-year-old man from Amsterdam at the scene. Later, a second suspect, a 41-year-old man from Zaandam, reported to the police station.
