Injured man rescued by firefighters from cathedral third floor | Antwerp

“We were called up at 6.30 p.m.,” says Kristof Geens of Antwerp Zone Fire Service. “It appears that the man on the third floor of the tower suffered a fracture or sprain that left him immobile. In the end, our teams had to help him, as the narrow staircase of the cathedral tower was too dangerous and difficult to descend independently.”

How the fire brigade finally brought the man down cannot be confirmed. But according to the video, it looks like they lifted it down the outside with a lift truck.
