Someone was injured in a rear-end collision in Erica tonight. The accident happened on the Havenstraat, in front of the traffic lights to the Verlengde Vaart NZ.
The occupant of the front vehicle was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Two other occupants, including the driver, were not injured.
The driver of the rear vehicle has been arrested for refusing to cooperate with a police drug test.
A recovery company will tow the damaged rear vehicle. The front vehicle was able to continue on its way.
