At the Zuiddijk in Zaandam, someone was injured in a possible shooting around 7:15 p.m. The injured has been taken to hospital.
A police spokesman has not yet commented on the severity of the person’s injuries. It is also not yet clear what exactly happened.
Police are investigating the incident and are asking anyone who may have seen anything to call. Part of the Zuiddijk, near the Burgemeester ter Laanstraat, has been cordoned off for investigation. According to a witness, there are bullet holes in the window of a restaurant in the street.
