Injured in multi-car accident near Castricum

Several people were injured on Saturday evening on the N203 between Castrcum and Uitgeest in North Holland due to an accident in which several cars were involved. A police spokeswoman cannot yet say exactly how many people and vehicles were involved.

One of the injured was trapped and had to be freed by firefighters. Emergency services were deployed en masse. An air ambulance was also called.

The N203 is temporarily closed to traffic due to the accident, the police reported.
