One person has been injured in a shooting at Kersenboogerd station in Hoorn. The perpetrators are currently still on the run, the police report. The victim was taken to hospital.
The shooting took place around ten past seven tonight. Initially it was reported that the incident had occurred at the Transferium at Hoorn station, but this turned out not to be the case. Emergency services had already rushed there, but later went to Kersenboogerd station.
It is not yet clear how the victim is doing. An air ambulance has been called. The police are currently looking for two suspects. An investigation is underway at the location where it happened.

A description of the fugitive suspects is known. The first boy is white, wearing black pants, jacket and shoes. He is wearing a gray shirt under his jacket and a dark cap. The second boy is light-skinned, wears dark pants, a green-black hoodie with a jacket over it.
