Two cars collided this morning on the N381 between Beilen and Westerbork. A 20-year-old woman from Appelscha was injured in the accident.
It is not known exactly what went wrong on the provincial road. The fronts of the two cars involved were heavily damaged. The victim was rushed to hospital, police said she suffered serious injuries.
The N381 was closed in both directions between Beilen and Aalden, but was passable again for traffic from early afternoon.
