During construction work on Wednesday afternoon in Dongen, someone was injured by a falling diamond. The work took place at a building under construction on the Eindsestraat.
The window was stuck with suction cups to a tap that kept the glass up. The window came loose and fell on someone. It is unclear whether the victim was working at the construction site.
Several ambulances and a trauma helicopter were called, but the arrival of the helicopter was canceled shortly before arrival. The victim was transported to the hospital.
