By the power of Grayskull: I have the power! In the 1980s, millions of boys shouted this battle cry from Masters of the Universe, a hugely popular cartoon series about the tough hero prince He-Man. The animated series – based on action figures from toy giant Mattel – was followed in 1987 by a dragon of a live action adventure, with Dolph Lundgren in the role of the über-muscular swordsman in a loincloth. With Masters of the Universe, Amazon’s film branch is now making a new attempt, with Travis Knight at the helm.
