Two people were injured in a stabbing at the Red Cross Hospital in Beverwijk. A suspect was subsequently arrested on the Spoorsingel.
The incident was reported to Vondellaan around 8.15 p.m. Several police cars have been called to the incident.
A police spokesman said the stabbing did not happen in the hospital, but nearby. She also emphasizes that it is not about healthcare staff.
What exactly happened is under investigation.
