After a sprint with two, she beat her compatriot Aniek van Alphen (Cyclocross Reds). Alicia Franck (Lotto – X – Oats) finished third, Marion Norbert Riberolle was fourth.
Various toppers were still missing: World Champion Fem van Empel and Puck Pieterse start their season later, while Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado is injured.
Van der Heijden took the head start and remained in the front. In the final phase she drove away with Van Alphen, after Riberolle knew bad luck and Franck had to release in the sand strip. Van der Heijden finally showed himself the fastest in the Sprint.
